I’ve been in a great place lately with the exciting news of becoming a father and I keep thinking about things I want to share with you.

I often hear from entrepreneurs who are frustrated because they struggle to attract enough clients despite having invested in multiple programs on the latest and greatest marketing ‘secret’.

It pains my heart to hear this when I know how simple the solution really is.

So today I’ve decided to walk you through a 3 step process I’ve used to keep my practice full for 3 years straight.

Now before I get into what that is I want to preface this by saying that you might breeze by these ideas fast and overlook the power of them because they are so simple.

Please don’t do that.

The fact is, many entrepreneurs and others who make a living from selling  often get caught in the trap of trying to ‘will’ their business to success.

They look for the perfect marketing strategy that will allow them to have a steady steam of clients coming to them effortlessly but more often then not it turns out to be a whole lot of work.

Because it’s not sustainable they give up and find themselves back where they started: struggling to get clients.

This brings with it a lot of shame and ‘I’m not good enough’ type of thinking.

I’m not saying marketing strategies don’t work.  Many do and you should continue to learn and master them.

What I am saying is that relying solely on ‘strategies’ alone will never work in the long term because they are based entirely on external ‘outer game’ effort.

The solution to your client attraction problem is not in the outer game at all.

So lets get into the 3 part process:

1.  The first step is that you must believe that you are supported by the universe.

It may feel at times like you are alone in this quest to build your business, but you are not.

Your business (just like yourself) has a greater purpose than just to produce income and support you / your family.

Many entrepreneurs I meet get lost in ‘small business’ thinking.

They might be connected to their own purpose for doing what they do but they don’t see the bigger picture – that their business plays a role beyond them – and that it is an integral part of the great dance of life.

That interconnectedness of all things is not just some esoteric concept from The Ling King.  It’s truth.  And it applies to your business as much as it does to you.

When you ‘remember’ this, you can’t help but feel supported by something greater.

This brings us to step 2 of the process:

2.  Own this mantra: “I’m so happy and grateful now that ideal clients come to me all the time, in increasing quantities from endless sources without strain or stress.”

It’s true.  They do.  And they always will… as long as you keep this mantra by your side and BELIEVE IT.

Repeat it daily and allow it to sink into your subconscious mind.  Then it will become a way of life for you.

And this brings us to the final (and 3rd) step of the process:

3. You must take inspired ‘real world’ action consistently.

It doesn’t really matter what you do.  As long as do something that includes other people, you will attract clients.

I’ve attracted clients at the beach, at the bar, at coffee shops, at the airport, at networking events and on and on it goes.

Of course the best action you could take would be to put yourself into communities of people who fit your ideal client profile.

But don’t get overly hung up on that right now.

Just step outside your bubble… bringing with you part 1 and part 2 of this processs and you will be successful.

Don’t believe me?  Think you need the next whiz bang super duper stealth marketing strategy?

Don’t get caught up in the hype.

Business (and life) are inside games.  Master this part and the outer will always come.

As T. Harv Ecker says in the Secrets of the Millionaire Mind:  “If you want to change the visible, you have to change the invisible first”

Okay, so lets pull it all together:

#1: You believe that you are supported by the universe.

#2: You own the mantra: “I’m so happy and grateful now that ideal clients come to me all the time, in increasing quantities from endless sources without strain or stress”

#3: You take inspired ‘real world’ action consistently

That’s it.  I told you it was simple.

When I started my business 4 years ago I had nothing but the desire to achieve my first coaching goal of 5 clients. I had no sales skills, no niche, no website and no company name.

But I had this process inside of me.

And it has served me so well that I wanted to make sure you had access to it too.

Go out and attract a new client today.  I know you can do it.

If this was helpful to you and you got value (or clients) out of it, I’d love to hear about it.

Send me a shout!

With Love,

Sean
